Vitamin C Ester is a unique combination of L-ascorbic acid (traditional vitamin C) and palmitic acid, a fatty acid derived from palm oil. That combination is what makes the difference: unlike traditional vitamin C, which is water-soluble, Vitamin C Ester is fat-soluble, allowing it to penetrate skin more easily and resist the breakdown that plagues most vitamin C formulas.
